Adidas was founded in 1924 in Germany by Rudolf Dassler and Adi. The company was previously named Dassler shoes and later became Adidas. The three stripes on Adidas were created to keep the foot stable and this ended up becoming the logo. Adidas over the years is seen in the Olympics and it has been the leading brand making shoes for the Olympic athletes.
Adidas has been seen in the Olympics. In 1978, Adi Dassler passed away at the age of 78 and his wife started running the company. Six years after, Kathe passed and the company was left for their son to run. However, after three years, he too died and the company went in some serious financial problems. Adidas however was rescued by Run-DMC who saved the company just as Jordan saved Nike.
